Bio

Jason Slanga spent most of high school and college studying networking and computer programming. Meanwhile, he discovered a love of Latin and teaching. He graduated with a degree in Ancient Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and currently teaches Latin in Baltimore County. Jason still enjoys programming and web-design, and maintains the websites for Dulaney High School and Septentrionalis Americae Latinitatis Vivae Institutum. He is also the state sponsor of the Maryland Junior Classical League.

When he is not speaking and teaching Latin, Jason teaches technology in a way that is meaningful to teachers and students alike. In 2008, his presentation on Digital Storytelling was selected as "Best of Maryland," by the Maryland Foreign Language Association, and the following spring he presented at the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Language.
